Brad Smith- "Broken Bones and Bullet Holes"

Brad Smith- "Broken Bones and Bullet Holes"(Roxx records)

When you want your rock n roll, filled with high volume guitars, sharp edged riffs and vocals that reminds both of the gravy Zakk Wylde and the always high Ozzy, Smith is your man. From AC/DC to BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and MEGADETH with a touch of LYNYRD SKYNYRD and BLACKFOOT among the major influences of BLS, Smith and Co delivers an in your face rock n roll album for rockers not ravers. Old school yes, full of energy and vivid ,yes for a second time, bar room boogie, hard rock yes for the third time and for those of you who are bored with over complex albums and retro lovers this is an album full of in your face music as the one  inspired most of us to stay awake all night long listening to vinyl records.

Smith offers no innovation but his music is overwhelmed by inspiration and originality, staying on the path that defined Hard rock,ACDC,SABBATH and SKYNYRD a lethal combination that will satisfy your ears and your soul to the maximum. He even adds some 90s touch at the choruses in songs like "Troubles enough" to be contemporary for the 20th century, dont worry man, i am coming from the same age too.So despite his Christian metal past, not a disadvantage for me in anyway, Smith delivers, guitar driven hard rock in the vein of BLS with songs like "Lift me up", "Givin  em hell" and 'Sea of truth" and the self titled song stand out and invite you to eternal and blessed headbanging.
