Sometimes to make a decent tribute gets additional help from the original songs. BAD COMPANY could have ended after their first album and still be a cornerstone of Classic rock. On the contrary and despite personal differences, issues, drugs and alcohol they soldiered on. Now as the band is part alive, part a memory act with the voice of Paul Ridgers still in great shape but with member loss due to age limitations (for simple humans it is called death due to advanced age), the time for a tribute is right. What is intriguing here is the variety of the bands and the vocalists. You won't find the macho, male vocalists and Hard rock bands but a wider sample of bands who are either traditional i.e DIRTY HONEY, BLACK STONE CHERRY or far more modern HALESTORM , PRETTY RECKLESS or Southern BLACKBERRY SMOKE and all of them , feel the songs as their own and treat them with love and respect. 

Original members Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke also appear on the record and add genuinity and credibility to the covers plus an interesting tone and interaction between the maker (of the songs) and the fan (who pays tribute). The quality of the songs and the status of those who participate doesn't leave any space for bad covers. Still there are some stand out covers, mostly because the songs get a nice treatment like  “Shooting Star” –HALESTORM(feat. Paul Rodgers), “Rock Steady” – DITY HONEY ,  “Seagull” – Joe Elliott and Phil Collen of DEF LEPPARD (feat. Paul Rodgers & Simon Kirke)“Run with the Pack” – BLACKBERRY SMOKE (feat. Paul Rodgers & Brann Dailor).If you are looking for a tribute album that respects the originals and gives to the participating artists a chance not to be Jukebox heroes, "Can't Get Enough: A Tribute To Bad Company" is your stuff. You can listen to the covers by HARDY, THE STRUTS, and see a different face of the participating artists and how a younger generation interprets songs that build the rock myth.
