CROSSBONE SKULLY - "Evil world machine"

Hendriksen is well known for his tenure with Alice Cooper and this pays off to his band work. CROSSBONE SKULLY have unleashed their debut album "Evil World Machine" which brought the legendary Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard) out of retirement to executive produce the project. and you hear his sonic influence everywhere. The album is a concept album Led and conceptualized by Henriksen (guitarist and musical director for Alice Cooper’s band and member of Hollywood Vampires).

CROSSBONE SKULLY  enlisted a stellar group of supporting musicians including guitarist Tommy Denander, keyboardist Jamie Muhoberac (My Chemical Romance, John Mayer, Seal), bassist Chris Wyse (Hollywood Vampires, Ace Frehley, The Cult, Ozzy Osbourne), drummer Glen Sobel (Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires), the late UFO bassist Pete Way, mixer Olle Romo (Muse, Bryan Adams) and producer/mixer Mike Plotnikoff (AC/DC, Aerosmith). Also lighting up the album are guest features and spoken word appearances by A-list actor/musician and fellow Hollywood Vampires bandmate Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper, Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe), Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Kane Roberts, and more.

.A mix of early ACDC-Bon Scott era, for the first five songs, dirty, rhythmic, crispy,  twelve bar rock n roll and then ALICE COOPER and ACCEPT gets in the equation. Heavy guitars, wrecking ball vocals and the groove all around the place. " "Lets bust the trust" has the Celtic influences, like DROPKICK MURHYS turn hard rock, while the punk ro0ck and ALICE COOPER show their influence at "The Sin Eater", While ACDC shines at "The Boom Went The Boom" (feat. Phil Collen of Def Leppard). "High on you" feat Nikki Sixx has the sing a long feeling of the Brian Johnson ACDC era and the album is the best example of how you can pay tribute to your musical heroes without being a bad imitation of them." Iam Bone Machine' is another excelelnt example on the sonical diversity of the band with ACCEPT overtones and a bit more heavy a[proach. In the same vein is the dark, dystopic, slow burner "I am the wolf". All and all ,a dark album that pays tribute to the dirt and the rhythm, the darkness and the outcast feeling the essence of rock n roll as it was delivered by ACDC and ALICE COOPER at their prime.

Released by Better Noise Music, the rock concept album echoes similar dystopian visions such as David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and Diamond Dogs and its story will be expanded in a forthcoming graphic novel and animated film, Thing #1, due in 2025. So stay alert as we have plenty more to wait
