This bunch of rockers, was like a coronavirus in UkAa time bomb ready to explode and this time they did it for good. This album is a weapon of mass destruction. Hooks impressive as Mountain Rossmore. melodic lines addictive like pure Colombian Coke and the SONIC versatility of the album, the cherry on the pie, and what a cherry it is.
The heavy rock of the previous albums meets the Arena /stadium sound and an addictive sound that reminds me of the great days of STATUS QUO, SLADE and AC/DC all messed up with a good portion of pop sensibility. These guys bring a pure 70s feeling in the 00s with no sweat. An amalgam of sounds in the album, just makes more than easy, makes the listening compulsory and the repeat a necessity. Modern heavy rock with a great melodic twist with one eye at the bar and the other at the Olympus of modern heavy rock. Imagine MANIC STREET PREACHERS dare themselves to be a real rock band and not Ken Loach musical equity and you could have a good example, where these guys go. If you loved the early GUN albums but are also a heavy metal fan (ALMIGHTY etc) and like your AC DC watered down with pop thrilling melodies, check this album. This is a real testimony of a great band rising to the expectations.
